Out of a private home in Paris 20, @spareroom_paris creates intimate conversations between the works of two selected artists.
Shown in Spare Room #2 are works by Matthias Odin (@matthias_odin) and Clémentine Bruno (@clementinebruno). Their two practices both themed by accumulation and articulation but through different mediums.
How do things – of material or memory – become our own in a time and space like this?
Applying intensity and intimacy on to the viewer, the curation, the city, and a personal living space come together to question the experience of seeing art in a gallery setting.
